Anton Gernot Schmidt

Anton Gernot Schmidt (D.I.) boasts extensive experience in project management and sales within the hydroelectric power sector. Currently serving as Director of Project Management at ANDRITZ Hydro Brasil since September 2019, notable achievements include the successful handover of three Synchronous Condensers. Previously, within ANDRITZ HYDRO, Anton has held several key roles, including Sales Director in China and Senior Project Manager for significant contracts like HPP Pimental and HPP Santo Antônio, where units were delivered ahead of schedule. Prior experience includes sales management positions at Voith Hydro and VA TECH Energ, and international sales management at ELIN GmbH. Anton holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Technische Universität Graz and has pursued language studies in Mandarin and Spanish.
