Jari Suortti

Jari Suortti has extensive experience in procurement and engineering, currently serving as Category Team Leader and Manager of Procurement at Andritz since October 2008, focusing on purchasing steel constructions and related components for power boiler systems. Prior roles include Purchaser Outsourcing at Raute Oyj, where responsibilities encompassed subcontracting machinery for veneer production and sourcing across multiple countries including Finland, the Baltics, and beyond. Jari Suortti's early career includes positions as a Product Engineer at Mesera Components and Metso Paper, as well as an Inspector at Valmet Lentokoneteollisuus Oy. Jari Suortti holds a Master's degree in Industrial Management from Lappeenranta University of Technology and a B.Sc. in Machine-Automation from Kotka Polytechnic.
