Eka Abzhandadze

Eka Abzhandadze is an accomplished professional in Health Information Systems and Electronic Medical Records, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Medical Doctor Program Director at Alte University since 2023. Eka has held various significant roles, including Head of Quality Assurance Division at David Tvildiani Medical University from 2016 to 2022 and Clinical Quality Assurance Manager at EVEX Medical Corporation from 2012 to 2016. With prior experience as a Kakheti Regional Coordinator for the USAID Georgia Tuberculosis Prevention Project and as a Regulatory Division Specialist at the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Eka has a robust background in health care management. In addition to teaching, Eka is actively involved as a Hospital Information System Product Owner at Vabaco and a Product Manager at andromeda, while providing expertise for the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement since 2019. Eka holds two Master of Science degrees, one in Health Care Administration from The University of Edinburgh and another in Health Informatics from The University of Sheffield.
