Brett Darcey

Brett Darcey is a seasoned engineering executive currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Anduril Industries since October 2025, where efforts focus on driving massed effects products to operational capabilities. Previously, from July 2021 to October 2025, Brett held the position of Technical Fellow at Shield AI, leading the autonomy portfolio for jets through strategic leadership, program development, and customer engagement. At Heron Systems, Inc., Brett advanced from a Computer Programmer (2004-2008) to roles including Vice President, Executive Vice President, and Head of Product, overseeing the Product Development group and managing operations and business development from August 2009 to July 2021. Early experiences include internships with Congressman Steny Hoyer and Atlantic Test Ranges. Brett holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. in Information Technology Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
