Shane Landon Olson

Shane Landon Olson is an experienced professional in the fields of electrical hardware and software engineering, currently serving as a Special Projects Electrical Hardware Intern at Rivian since May 2023. Shane is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Thryvo Health and has successfully launched a biosensor, conducted extensive market research, and developed innovative solutions in healthcare. Previous experience includes serving as a Product/Test Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments, where improvements in testing processes were implemented for temperature sensors, and as a Software Engineering Intern at NOCD, where software enhancements and user onboarding strategies were developed. Shane also founded Virtual ID Systems, creating a mobile application that integrated student IDs with cafeteria payment systems to optimize service efficiency. Shane is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in May 2024.
