Phil Anderson

Phil Anderson is an experienced manager specializing in environmental solutions, currently serving as the Manager of Technical Climate Solutions Origination at Anew since October 2019. In this role, Phil leads efforts to develop and implement innovative emission reduction projects across diverse sectors, including Biochar, CCS, and waste management. Previously, Phil held positions at Bluesource, where responsibilities included managing methane reduction projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as supporting compliance with methane regulations. Additional experience includes a Sustainability Intern role at Ivanhoé Cambridge, focused on waste reduction practices, and a Water Quality Monitoring Student position with the City of Calgary, where data collection and analysis of water quality were key tasks. Phil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Mount Royal University.
