Panos Cavoulacos

Dr. Panos Cavoulacos has held a variety of roles in the energy industry since 2004. In that year, they were the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Petroleum S.A., as well as a Vice President at Charles River Associates Inc. From 2007 to 2010, they were the President of the European Petroleum Industry Association (now FuelsEurope). From 2010 to 2016, they were the Managing Director - Asia, Schlumberger Business Consulting, and Director - EMEA, Schlumberger Business Consulting. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Operating Partner at RueOne Investments LLC. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Founding Senior Advisor at Promethean Energy. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Founding Partner at Chromium E&P Holdings Pte. Ltd. In 2021, they became a Non-Executive Director of Angara Global Ltd. Additionally, since 2014, they have worked with energy companies and private equity funds in the US and Europe, focusing on upstream and downstream performance improvement, shale, LNG and due diligence support.

Panos Cavoulacos obtained a BS and MS in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 1976 and 1980. Panos then went on to receive an MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1982. Finally, they completed their PhD in Energy Economics from MIT in 1987.
