Ali Hussein Kassim has a diverse work experience in the technology and finance sectors. Ali Hussein is the founder and publisher of #AliTalksTech, where they cover the Pan African Tech Story, with a focus on Fintech. Ali has also worked as the CEO of AHK Corp, a digital transformation consulting company, where they helped clients leverage digital technologies for transformative change. Ali Hussein has served as a non-executive director for companies like Angaza and Old Mutual Investment Group, as well as the chairman of the Association of Fintechs in Kenya and an executive board member of the Africa Fintech Network. Additionally, Ali has held advisory roles for Belva Digital, Kipochi, KICTANet, and Gapstack. Their expertise lies in fintech, digital marketing, and driving the fintech revolution in Africa.

Ali Hussein Kassim has a diverse education history. In 1985 to 1986, they attended Lenana School and obtained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a major in Economics & History. From 1974 to 1984, they studied at Agakhan School and also obtained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, specializing in the arts.

In 1987 to 1990, Ali attended Kenyatta University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies. Ali Hussein then furthered their education in 2011 to 2012 at Copenhagen Business School, completing an Executive MBA in Leadership & International Business Development.

In 2015, Ali participated in a Five Day Corporate Governance Training Course for Directors, focusing on the duties and responsibilities of directors, corporate governance, and directors' strategic imperatives. In 2018, they engaged in the Effective Director Masterclass Programme at Strathmore University for executive education.

Additionally, Ali has obtained several certifications. These include Social Media Marketing Foundations, Building Resilience as a Leader, Jeff Weiner on Establishing a Culture and a Plan for Scaling, and Leading with Innovation, all from LinkedIn in 2020. In 2016, they completed the Trustee Development Program at the College of Insurance in Nairobi, Kenya. Furthermore, they have earned the edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Global Hospitality Management from edX in 2015 and the IBM Enterprise Marketing Management Solution Sales Professional v1 certification from IBM in 2012.
