Derrick A. Davis Jr.

Derrick A. Davis Jr. currently serves as General Counsel for Angel City Football Club, beginning in September 2024. Previously, Derrick held the position of Associate General Counsel at OneTeam Partners from July 2021 to August 2024, where responsibilities included drafting and negotiating group licensing agreements for a joint venture among the NFLPA, MLBPA, and RedBird Capital Partners. Derrick's experience also encompasses roles at TikTok as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, where significant projects involved creator monetization and marketing sponsorships. Additional legal expertise was gained at Relevent Sports Group, Major League Soccer, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and legal counsel in sports organizations. Derrick holds a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Morehouse College.
