Abhi Kane

Abhi is a Managing Director, Alternative Investment Strategist at Angel Oak Capital. He serves as a liaison between portfolio managers, institutional and retail clients, and the sales team. Abhi works closely with family offices, wealth management platforms, and other institutional investors to ensure they have the best solutions in place for their investment needs in their alternative investment allocation.

Prior to Angel Oak, Abhi was Managing Director, Head of Investment Research at SkyBridge Capital. His responsibilities included managing a team of investment analysts in addition to manager sourcing, research, and due diligence across a wide variety of hedge fund strategies. Prior to that, he was an Investment Analyst at Citigroup Alternative Investments (CIA) and performed similar duties. Earlier in his career, Abhi was President of Kane Consulting, a company engaged in providing analytical software services to leading financial companies including AIG and Citibank.

Abhi holds a BE degree in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. He is a CAIA charter holder and he holds the Series 7, 63 FINRA and Series 3 NFA licenses.
