Byron Smith

Byron Smith is an experienced managing director at Mountain Group Partners since 2009, overseeing venture capital investments in various sectors including life sciences and renewable energy. Smith serves on multiple boards, such as Silicon Ranch Corporation, which specializes in renewable energy solutions, and AngelEye Health, a leader in virtual engagement for NICU families. Additional board roles include positions at Airvet, Verility, Inc., In the Bowl Animal Health, and ReVIDA Recovery Centers, LLC. Smith's prior experience includes board membership at Preferral and Lost Valley Ranch, alongside involvement with AgTech Accelerator. Smith holds an MBA in Strategic Planning and Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Political Science and Economics from Middle Tennessee State University.
