Shalini Basu

Shalini Basu possesses extensive experience in the field of social work, currently serving as a Social Worker at Shore Medical Center since January 2022 and as a Hospice Social Worker at Angelic Palliative & Hospice Care since May 2018. With a strong background in geriatric care and community engagement, Shalini worked as a Geriatric Social Worker at South Jersey Geriatric Care and contributed to community building as a Community Reporter Fellow for Stories of Atlantic City. Previous roles include Director of Development at the Eternal Gandhi Museum Atlantic City and various therapeutic positions at Robins' Nest Inc., Family Empowerment Services, Holy Redeemer Health System, and It Takes A Family. Shalini holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University - Camden and a Bachelor's degree in Gerontology and Literature from Stockton University.
