Rosita Calabrese is currently the Country Manager for Italy at Angelini Pharma. Prior to this, they worked as the Commercial Director for Europe and Canada at AstraZeneca from July 2010 to June 2020, where they were responsible for driving sales and marketing performance of the respiratory portfolio. Rosita also shaped clear strategic direction in partnership with Global, and drove commercial excellence and capabilities improvement in Europe. From December 2006 to July 2010, Ms. Calabrese worked as the Business Unit Manager for Haemophilia at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where they led the Haemophilia Franchise and reported to the BU Director. Rosita also led a group of 8 people, including 1 National Sales Manager, 1 Marketing Manager, and 6 Reps Specialist. From August 2002 to November 2006, Ms. Calabrese worked as the Product Manager for Virology at Abbott Laboratories, where they were responsible for managing the launch campaign for a new formulation of Kaletra (Nov.’06), as well as Norvir, a drug indicated to treat HIV patients. Rosita also developed marketing plans, budgets and forecasts, and developed new insights to enhance and support training programs for Reps.
Rosita Calabrese has a degree in finance from INSEAD and a master's in marketing management from ISTUD - Istituto Studi Direzionali di Stresa. Rosita also has a degree in chemistry from Università degli Studi di Palermo.
Rosita Calabrese reports to Pierluigi Antonelli, CEO. They work with Rafal Kaminski - Chief Scientific Officer, Fabio De Luca - Chief Marketing Officer, and Daniela Poggio - Executive Director, Global Communications.
