Derek Ou-Ponticelli

Derek Ou-Ponticelli is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance and marketing. Currently serving as the Head of Strategic Finance at AngelList since June 2022, Derek has previously held significant roles at Airbnb as Marketing Strategic Finance Principal and Strategic Finance Manager from November 2018 to June 2022. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company and a role as Global Brand Solutions Analyst at Google. Derek's career began at McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst and Summer Business Analyst, complemented by experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia. Derek holds a Master of Arts in Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, all obtained from The University of Georgia between 2009 and 2013.
