Katy Torain

Katy Torain's work experience begins in 2010 with a cashier role at Kmart Corporation, which they held until 2013. In 2012, they joined Purdue PRSSA as a member of the Com Day Committee, where they assisted in networking with professionals and promoting events. Katy interned at BLASTmedia in 2013 as a Social Media Intern with a focus on writing, managing social media accounts, and creating brand awareness. Katy also worked as a Social Media Intern for Purdue University's Liberal Arts Career Development, where they gained experience in social media management. Katy briefly worked as an Event Specialist at Andy Frain Services in 2012. Katy then worked for JD Byrider from 2013 to 2016, first as a Program Consultant and then as a Branch Finance Assistant. In 2014, Katy briefly worked as a Caterer at The Outpost Banquet and Catering. Katy also worked as a Photographer at Wildfire Crowns Photography from 2017 onwards. Katy joined Angi in 2016, starting as a Client Success Representative and progressing to the positions of Client Success Manager II and Dual Client Success Manager - Team Lead.

Katy Torain completed their high school education with honors at Taylor High School in 2009. Katy then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Rhetorical Advocacy at Purdue University, graduating in 2013.
