Mark Shin

Mark Shin has extensive work experience in data science and analytics. Mark started their career at Boulder Running Company as a Manager/Footwear Buyer from 2000 to 2010. Mark then joined the University of Colorado Denver as a Graduate Statistical Consultant from 2009 to 2010. After that, Mark worked at Nordstrom as an Analyst from 2010 to 2011. Mark then moved to DS-IQ and held various positions including Senior Analyst from 2011 to 2013, Senior Data Scientist from 2013 to 2014, Data Science Group Manager from 2014 to 2015, and Director of Data Science and Analytics from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they are working at Angi where they have held the positions of Director of Data Science from 2018 to 2021, Senior Director of Data Science from 2021 to 2023, and VP of Data Science from 2023 onwards.

Mark Shin completed their education at the University of Colorado Denver, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in 2004 and a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from 2007 to 2010. Mark also obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in 2018.
