Matt Bastardi has over 20 years of leadership experience in the medical device & diagnostics industry, having managed teams in corporate development, strategic planning, marketing, finance, and operations. Prior to Surgical Specialties, Matt was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategy for Accriva Diagnostics. Matt helped lead the transformation of Accriva Diagnostics resulting in the sale of the Company to Werfen. Earlier in his career, Matt was Vice President, Portfolio Management, Strategic Marketing & Business Development for Covidien. Matt also held roles in the OEM / contract manufacturing industry serving the medical device industry with FlexMedical and Accellent. He started his career in M&A investment banking for Alex. Brown & Sons. Matt earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a B.S. from Georgetown University.
