Dan Simmons

Board Member at Angkor Hospital for Children

Dan is a partner of OCP Asia, an Asian-focused credit fund with offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, where he sits on the firm’s investment and executive committees. Dan has extensive experience in investing in Emerging Markets, having lived and worked in Asia for nearly 20 years.

Prior to establishing OCP, Dan was a Managing Director at Stark Investments in Asia. He was Vice President at Merrill Lynch, which he joined in 2005 from the Equity-Linked Derivative Markets Group at JPMorgan (Hong Kong). Dan holds a combined Bachelor of Law (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Business with Distinction from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Dan, his wife Mandy and their three children have been actively involved in AHC since 2015. The Simmons family have played an invaluable role in fundraising for AHC, most notably by hosting the annual Hong Kong Fundraising Dinner, a key international event for the organisation. Dan’s children are also active in the organisation, fundraising and supporting AHC through numerous platforms and events.
