Mar Batista Seguí

Mar Batista Seguí currently serves as the Head of Programmes at British Water since January 2018, overseeing strategic initiatives and managing various technical focus groups related to the UK water industry. Previous experience includes a role as Technical Manager at British Water and a PhD in Environmental Science from Cranfield University, focusing on sustainability in wastewater treatments. Additional research positions were held at Biowater Technology AS and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, contributing to advancements in biological and vegetated wastewater treatment systems. Prior to these roles, Mar held the position of Project Engineer at Indefa Ingenieros S.L., involved in the design and management of irrigation projects. Mar's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Environment and Natural Resources and an Engineer’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering.
