Bishop Augustine Unuigbe

Bishop Augustine Unuigbe currently serves as Missionary Bishop for the Church Of Nigeria North American Mission since September 2023. In addition, Bishop Unuigbe has held various positions within the Anglican Church in North America since February 2012, including Bishop and Pastor. Bishop Unuigbe also serves as Pastor at the Anglican Church of Transformation in Mays Landing, New Jersey, since October 2012, and holds the position of Hospitalist at Southern Ocean County Hospital since July 2011. Previous roles include Suffragan Bishop and Suffragan Bishop-elect in the Anglican Diocese of the Trinity, as well as Canon in the same diocese until January 2024. From December 2014 to February 2018, Bishop Unuigbe was a Canon Missioner for the Missionary Diocese of CANA East. Educational qualifications include a Medical degree from the University of Benin, completed in 1997, residency training in Internal Medicine at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY, from 2007 to 2010, and a high school diploma from FGC Sokoto.
