Simone Pettiford

Simone Pettiford is the Regional Operations Manager for East Arnhem. Simone’s background is in both NGO and statutory child protection, predominantly in Queensland. Simone previously lived in the NT in the 1990s and has returned after 21 years. She recently enjoyed a stint working in community development in the remote homelands area of Northeast Arnhem Land.

Simone’s role at Anglicare NT is to oversee a broad array of services across the Northeast Arnhem region including family, youth, aged and disability services, counselling, tenancy support and money matters. Simone’s work, particularly in Intensive Foster Care, supporting children and young people with complex to extreme needs, residential care and with young people in supported independent living programs, has led to her keen interest in trauma informed approaches and interventions within a strengths based approach.
