Jonathan Morris

Prof Morris is an obstetrician and specialises in the care of high-risk pregnancy. He has held a number of senior positions including the Head of the University of Sydney’s Northern Clinical School, based at the Royal North Shore Hospital, and the Director of the Kolling Institute. He has a strong track record in health research and the use of data to improve the quality and appropriateness of health care. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Australian Preterm Birth Alliance and is Medical Lead for a NSW Maternity Safety Program within the Clinical Excellence Commission.

Prof Morris has been a Director of Stillbirth Foundation Australia since 2008 and served as its Chair from 2010 to 2021. Prof Morris is also a Director of The NORTH Foundation (formerly the Kolling Foundation). Prof Morris was appointed to the Board in March 2021.
