Anne Welfare

Anne Welfare is currently a Principal Practitioner at Anglicare Victoria. Anne has extensive experience in the field of child protection, having worked as a Principal Practitioner with the Department of Health and Human Services in Victoria, Australia from September 2011 to February 2016. Anne has also worked as a Lecturer and Psychologist at The Bouverie Centre at La Trobe University from February 1982 to November 2011. In this role, they were responsible for lecturing in the Masters of Family Therapy program as well as coordinating and being a member of the Sexual Abuse Team from 1990 to 2001.

Anne Welfare received their Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Anne then attended La Trobe University.
