Megan Hughes

Megan Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Megan is currently employed as the Principal of Service Development at AnglicareSA since June 2023. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at Centacare Catholic Family Services in Adelaide from November 2021 to December 2022. Megan also served as the Executive Manager of Integrated Programs at Women's Safety Services of South Australia (WSSSA) from October 2017 to January 2022. Additionally, they worked as the Executive Officer at Southern Domestic Violence Service (SDVS) from April 2003 to January 2022, where they played a key role in leading the organization and ensuring the service was responsive to the needs of women and children. Megan was an advisory group member at AWAVA from 2011 to 2016 and briefly served as CoConvenor at Together in the South in 2015. Megan started their career as a Community Development worker at Hackham West Community Centre from 1998 to 2000.

Megan Hughes obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics/Sociology/Legal studies from Flinders University in the years 1996 to 2000. Megan also attended Mercedes College from 1974 to 1981. Megan recently completed a course in Agile for Project Management through RMIT Online in 2021. Megan also holds a certification in Agile for Project Management from RMIT Online, which was obtained in the year 2020.
