Ashina Buddu

Ashina Buddu serves as the Global Head of Business Intelligence & Data Analytics at Anglo American, a role held since January 2021, and is responsible for developing the Digital Strategy for the Processing and Asset Strategy & Reliability functions within the company. Previously, Ashina led the digital transformation of Anglo American's Platinum Business Unit and managed various concentrator operations at Anglo Platinum, including general management of multiple processing plants. With a solid foundation in technical roles since 2003, Ashina possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Durban University of Technology and an MBA from GIBS Business School.
