Russell Seib

Russell Seib is an experienced mining industry professional currently serving as Technical Manager of Strategy and Joint Ventures at Anglo American since October 2021, providing technical support for non-managed joint ventures. Prior to this role, Russell held various positions at BHP, including Practice Lead for Mine Planning & Engineering, where leadership was demonstrated through managing a team of skilled planners and driving global mine planning initiatives. Russell's extensive experience includes key roles at Komatsu Australia, Joy Global, and BHP Billiton, where expertise in mine planning, engineering, and operational improvement was consistently applied. Russell holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from The University of Queensland and is pursuing a Graduate AICD qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
