Lina Liem

Lina Liem's work experience includes working as a Chemistry Subject Head and Chemistry Teacher at Anglo Singapore International School since 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Chemistry Teacher at Cita Hati Christian Senior School from 2004 until October 2023. Their responsibilities at Cita Hati Christian Senior School included teaching Mandarin to grades 7-8 and Chemistry to grades 9-12 students, as well as assisting with International Curriculum coordination and exam administration. Before their teaching career, Lina worked as a Research and Development staff at PT. Warsons Pharmaceutical from 2002 to 2004, focusing on developing extraction methods and purification processes for a range of products.

Lina Liem began their education at Pemberton Township High School in 1995 and completed their secondary education in 1996. Lina then attended the University of Wollongong from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Following this, Lina pursued a Master's Degree in Chemistry at the University of Wollongong from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, they attended Beijing Normal University to study Mandarin for a year. Most recently, Lina enrolled at the University of Nottingham from 2018 to 2019, where they completed a PGCEi in Education.
