Alejandro Caicedo

Alejandro Caicedo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alejandro started their career at Shell UK, where they held various roles in management consultancy, sales, pricing, supply chain optimization, change management, process improvements, and business transformation initiatives. Alejandro then worked at BHP Billiton in marketing before joining Orica. At Orica, Caicedo served as the CEO for Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia, where they successfully transformed the Peruvian business and achieved significant revenue and profit growth. Alejandro also served as the CEO for Orica Middle East, responsible for the financial performance of the organization. Additionally, they held the position of Global Sales & Marketing Vice President, managing a portfolio of products and services aimed at key sectors. Caicedo then became a Board Member at iGroup before joining AngloGold Ashanti in 2023 as the Vice President of Global Procurement.

Alejandro Caicedo has a diverse education history. In 1998, they completed a BEng in Energy Engineering Honours at the University of Leeds. Alejandro furthered their education in 2001 by obtaining a Diploma of Education in Computer Software Engineering from The University of Sheffield. In 2012, Alejandro attended Harvard University for a High Potential Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership. From 2013 to 2014, they pursued multiple Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degrees. Alejandro attended TRIUM Global Executive MBA, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for Business Administration and Management, and International Businesses, NYU Stern School of Business for Finance, and HEC Paris for International Business.
