Chi Huang

Chi Huang is a skilled mining engineer currently serving as a Planning Engineer at AngloGold Ashanti since December 2020, where responsibilities include stope design, mine development design, and implementing weekly plans using Deswik OPS, Pitram, and Power BI. Previous experience encompasses roles as a Production Engineer and Graduate Mining Engineer, with hands-on involvement in underground operations and drilling and blasting support. Prior to AngloGold Ashanti, Chi Huang worked at Alcoa as a Mining Engineer Student, focusing on floor design, 3D rehabilitation design, and pit optimization, and earlier served as a Mining Engineering Vacation Student. Chi Huang's career began at CDM Australia, where qualifications included fault-finding and equipment repairs. Chi Huang holds a Master of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Curtin University.
