Karan Rai

Karan Rai is the Founder and Managing Partner of ASGARD Partners & Co., an operationally focused lower middle market Private Equity firm, established in May 2017. Karan also serves as Chairman of the Board for Revision Military Limited and Angstrom Technology, both roles held concurrently since October 2019 and November 2020, respectively. Additionally, Karan was the Chief Executive Officer of Theodor Wille Intertrade from November 2015 to December 2017 and held multiple leadership positions at ADS, Inc. from August 2012 to February 2017, including President and CFO & EVP. Karan was also a board member of 757 Angels, contributing to investment and mentorship for early-stage companies from January 2015 to January 2017. Earlier in career, Karan worked as Vice President in Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase from July 2006 to July 2012, specializing in leverage finance. Karan holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Yale School of Management, obtained between 2004 and 2006.
