Kerr Petrie

Kerr Petrie is an experienced distillery manager with a strong background in the beverage industry. Currently serving as the Distillery Manager at Angus Dundee Distillers PLC since September 2025, Kerr previously held the role of Distillery Manager and Head Distiller at Killarney Brewing & Distilling Company from March 2021 to September 2025. Prior experience includes a position as Production Supervisor at Irish Distillers from October 2018 to April 2021 and a role as Chemical and Process Engineer - Production Development at Diageo Global Supply between March 2012 and October 2018, specializing in malt distilling. Earlier in the career, Kerr worked as a Production Operator at Ipsen, where responsibilities included supporting facility start-up phases and developing operational documentation. An Industrial Placement at Novartis involved supporting the manufacture of drug products, while earlier experience includes bartending in various Cork city establishments. Kerr Petrie holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, completed in 2007.
