Jim Farrell

Jim Farrell, MBA, RMC, currently serves as the Sr. Director of National Accounts at ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since August 2021, where responsibilities include engaging with Commercial & Government Payers to ensure patient access to a rare-disease drug through contract negotiations and payer pull-through programs. Prior to that, Jim held the position of Sr. Director of Market Access & Reimbursement at Akcea Therapeutics, focusing on similar payer engagements for an ultra rare-disease drug. Jim's extensive background includes leadership roles at BTG plc, Alimera Sciences, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Prolacta Bioscience, MGI Pharma, and Allergan, all of which emphasized market access, reimbursement strategies, and payer policy negotiations. Jim earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Connecticut and a BBA in Management from Hofstra University.
