David B. Colleran

David B. Colleran has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in the healthcare industry. David B. is currently serving as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Anika Therapeutics since March 2020. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at Insulet Corporation, including Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer from 2015 to 2019. During their time at Insulet Corporation, Colleran was responsible for legal and strategic support for significant financial transactions and the acquisition of a new corporate headquarters. Before joining Insulet Corporation, Colleran worked at Covidien (now Medtronic) as the Vice President and General Counsel for the Medical Supplies Sector. David B. created and managed the Legal Department for the sector, providing legal advice and support to senior leadership. Colleran also worked as an Associate General Counsel at Covidien and as Corporate Counsel at Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. Prior to these roles, they were a Corporate Associate in the Business and Technology Group at Choate, Hall and Stewart.

David B. Colleran pursued their education at Boston College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, graduating cum laude in 1994. Following this, they attended Boston College Law School from 1995 to 1998, earning a Juris Doctor degree with a specialization in Law.
