Boaz Inbal

Dr. Inbal is an experienced R&D manager with a demonstrated history of working in the innovative biotechnology industry and a tailored skillset in drug design, pharmaceutical development, agro-chemicals, computational chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology. Prior to joining Anima, he was the VP R&D of Evogene’s subsidiary, AgPlenus, where he was managing a multidisciplinary team aiming to develop novel mode-of-action crop protection compounds. In his previous role at Evogene, he built the computational chemistry group from scratch. Prior to that, he was CTO at ProMining Therapeutics where he virtually designed molecules to mimic the SH3 domain of PAK1 and identified compounds that inhibit PAK1 activity in a tumor model in mice. He started his career in Computational Chemistry at Predix/Epix Pharmaceuticals, where an associate director, he was instrumental in bringing compounds from virtual screening to the clinic. Dr. Inbal obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Bioinformatics from the Weizmann Institute.
