Nicolas Roques

Nicolas ROQUES serves as the Deputy Head of the Organic Chemistry & Process Design Department and R&I Organic Analytical Lab Manager at Syensqo since December 2023, following the company's spinoff from Solvay. With extensive experience in analytical chemistry, Nicolas previously held the position of R&I Organic Analysis Laboratory Manager at Solvay from August 2018. Prior roles include Head of Department at SERVIER (ORIL Industrie) from 2009 to July 2018, where responsibilities encompassed managing an analytical team and engaging in research and innovation in analytical methodologies. Earlier experience includes key roles at Pierre Fabre, Rhodia, and Rhône-Poulenc, focusing on pharmaceutical process development, chemical research, and project leadership. Nicolas holds a PhD in the valorization of trifluoroacetic acid from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier.
