Helena Bäcklund

Helena Bäcklund has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Helena currently holds a position as a Senior Account Director at Animal, starting in 2022. Prior to this, Helena worked at Klarna as a Marketing Manager from March 2021 to October 2022. In this role, they drove co-marketing growth initiatives for partners and served as a Competence Lead for marketeers in Sweden and Finland.

Before Klarna, Helena served as an Account Director at River, The Agency from November 2014 to August 2020. Helena was responsible for creating comprehensive campaigns and experiences for clients such as Stora Enso, Mazda, Danone, and Klarna. Additionally, Helena was part of the management team at River.

In 2013, Helena worked as an Account Manager at OPACITY, where they led various digital projects for clients including Coca-Cola, Philips, and Chiquita. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Elephas Talk AB, managing commercial, event, photoshoot, and set design projects. Helena started their career as a Junior Production Manager at Fältman & Malmén in 2012.
