Steven Shadwick

Steven Shadwick currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer, Department Head of Internal Medicine, and Medical Director at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota since August 2011. Prior experience includes a role as a Resident/Teaching Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from July 2008 to July 2011 and an earlier position as an Actuarial Assistant at State Farm from 1998 to 2003. Steven Shadwick holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Further academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Illinois Wesleyan University, obtained between 1995 and 1999.
