William Roy Poulton McGi

William Roy Poulton MCGI has extensive experience in information risk management and security, currently serving as the Head of Information Risk at Animal Friends since October 2018. Prior to this role, Poulton was Operations Project Manager at TorchlightGroup Ltd and held positions as Information Security Consultant at CGI and Lead Staff Officer - ISTAR Materiel and Personnel Exploitation at Army Headquarters, where strategic management and development of intelligence capabilities were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes operational management of an intelligence unit in Afghanistan, and various security management roles during military service in Cyprus and within the British Army. Poulton's career spans from 1984 to 2009 and includes significant expertise in C4I operations and managing sensitive data and personnel security in diverse environments. Education encompasses training at Sir John Colfox School and the Army Apprentice College Harrogate.
