Susan Chitwood Barton

Susan Chitwood Barton has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a volunteer attorney at the Animal Legal Defense Fund since 2011. Previously, Susan has held the position of Attorney of Counsel at Chitwood and Fairbairn, P.A. since June 2006 and was an Attorney of Counsel at CHITWOOD & FAIRBAIRN, P.A. until January 2021. Prior to these roles, Susan was an Attorney from 1981 to 2006 with Susan Chitwood Barton, Esq. and began their legal career as a Paralegal at Legal Services Organization, Inc. from 1977 to 1981. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from Full Stack Squad and an AB in English and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington.
