Baiwen Gao, FRM

Baiwen Gao's work experience begins in 2015 when they worked as a Research Intern and Co-author at FinanceAsia. In 2016, they held multiple positions including Global 3rd Place at BNP PARIBAS Ace Manager, Research Assistant at HKUST, and Research Intern at Deloitte China. In 2017, Baiwen joined HSBC Global Banking and Markets as a Trading Summer Analyst and later moved to Privé Technologies as an Associate Project Manager & Quant, where they designed a portfolio management system for wealth management and private banking clients. In 2020, they joined New Vision Asset Management as part of the Fund & Portfolio Management team. Currently, Baiwen Gao is employed at Animoca Brands as a Digital Asset Trader.

Baiwen Gao, FRM, completed the BSc in Quantitative Finance Program at HKUST Business School from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, Baiwen also participated in the Global BBA program at ESSEC Business School. Prior to this, Baiwen attended Sun Yat-Sen memorial middle school from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, Baiwen has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the GARP FRM Program in January 2020, the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP in June 2016, and the HKSI Specialist Certificate - Securities from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute in January 2016.
