Nisha Desai

Nisha Desai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nisha currently holds the position of Co-Founder & COO at Anise Health, a role they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Humana as a Senior Product Manager, Digital Health & Analytics from May 2020 to January 2022.

Before their roles in the healthcare sector, Nisha was an Investment Associate at Athyrium Capital Management, LP from August 2017 to June 2019. Athyrium is a healthcare-focused investment firm with over $3.7 billion in committed capital. During their time there, Nisha gained experience in various asset classes such as public equity, private equity, fixed income, royalties, and structured securities. Nisha was involved in notable investments including seed stage equity financing for Longevity Health Plan and a $27 million debt investment in Tesaro (TSRO), a pharmaceutical company.

Nisha began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in July 2015. Nisha later worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at the same company in June to August 2014.

Nisha Desai completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Legal Studies at The Wharton School from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Nisha obtained the Series 63 and Series 79 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in August 2015.
