Troy Williams

Troy Williams has a wide range of work experience spanning over several industries. Troy currently holds the position of Director, Institutional Partnerships at AnitaB.org, where they are responsible for developing partnerships. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Customer Success at the same organization.

Troy is also the Co-Founder & Principal Consultant at CS for Success, a company they co-founded in 2021.

Before joining AnitaB.org and starting CS for Success, Troy worked at the Chicago Public Schools as the Interim Director of the Office of Computer Science, where they led a team in implementing equitable access to computer science education. Troy played a significant role in implementing the nation's first high school computer science graduation requirement in the district. Troy also served as the District Integration Manager, Computer Science for All at the same organization.

Troy has prior experience as the Director of Workforce Partnerships, Information Technology at City Colleges of Chicago, where they focused on building partnerships in the IT field. Troy also worked for the Chicago Public Schools as a Senior Program Coordinator in Information Technology.

Earlier in their career, Troy worked at ADP Dealer Services as a Client Technical Analyst, providing remote voice over IP networking support and managing phone systems for clients. Troy also worked as a Desktop Support Technician at BancTec and ABS Associates, providing desktop support and troubleshooting OS and network connectivity.

Troy's earliest experience was as a PC Specialist at Machinery Systems, Inc., where they provided various IT services, including PC installations, server maintenance, and network management. Troy also worked as a Help Desk Technician at CCC Information Services.

From 1989 to 1994, Troy Williams attended Northern Illinois University, where they obtained a BGS degree in Computer Science.
