Jared Groth has a diverse work experience in marketing and production. Jared currently serves as the Director of Operations and Marketing at Anita's Kitchen. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Marketing Manager, Video Production at Vanguard World, where they supported the company's global marketing branches and oversaw advertising content creation. Jared also worked as the Branding Director at ESO Strap and as a Freelance Marketing Consultant and Content Director, where they provided various marketing services to clients. Jared also has experience as a Marketing Manager in video production at Black Rapid Inc. and as the Creator and Executive Producer of Single Barrel Detroit, a production company focused on Detroit-based artists.

Jared Groth attended Michigan State University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Advertising.

For over 40 years, Anita’s Kitchen has dedicated itself to traditional Lebanese family recipes and gracious hospitality. With its flagship restaurant located in downtown Ferndale, Anita's Kitchen is consistently recognized by Hour Detroit and Detroit Metro Times as an award-winning restaurant. In 2018, proprietors Jen & Joe Wegrzyn introduced their first fast-casual concept, AKtakeaway, in Detroit's financial district. Offering "Old World traditions in a New World way," AKtakeaway provides healthy, convenient lunch to Detroit professionals, and at a great value! In late 2019, Anita's Kitchen opened its doors in downtown Lake Orion. The two-floor historic building dating back to the late 1800’s has been the perfect home for both the fast casual AKtakeaway concept (downstairs), and the relaxed, full service atmosphere of Anita’s Kitchen (upstairs). Just two months after the opening of the Lake Orion restaurant, Anita's Kitchen/ AKtakeaway debuted at DTW (Detroit Metro Airport). The addition of Anita’s Kitchen at DTW is part of a larger effort on behalf of partner company HMS Host to provide healthier airport dining options, with an emphasis on local Michigan businesses. With the addition of the Lake Orion and DTW locations, it becomes clear that Anita’s Kitchen is only looking ahead toward building the brand and its followers. The goal remains as true as ever; to introduce as many people as possible to the delicious and healthy flavors of Lebanon!
