Helgi Benediktsson

Helgi Benediktsson has been working in the tech industry since 2000. Starting as a Software Engineer at Dimon Software, they then moved to Marorka in 2004, where they worked as an Integration Engineer specializing in energy management software and integration aboard vessels. In 2006, Helgi moved to Landsbankinn and worked as a Software Engineer and then Team Leader in Software Development. In 2010, they returned to Meniga as a Software Engineer and then, in 2013, was promoted to Product Manager. In 2019, Helgi was appointed as the VP Product at Ankeri.

Helgi Benediktsson earned a C.Sc. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Háskóli Íslands from 1994 to 1998. Helgi then earned an M.Sc. in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from the same institution in 1999-2000. In 2007-2011, they earned a Masters Degree (MS) in Financial Economics from Háskóli Íslands. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
