Amrita Sarkar

Amrita Sarkar, Ph.D., MBA, serves as Principal Healthcare & Life Sciences Business Development at Amazon Web Services since July 2019, with prior roles as Senior Business Development Manager and Senior Venture Capital Business Development Manager. In addition, Amrita is a Member of the Board of Advisors at Ankh Impact Ventures, focusing on sustainable and inclusive investments. Amrita contributes to the Techstars network as a Mentor and has held advisory and board positions at companies such as Konexio, UBLEAM, MYSPHERA, DietSensor Inc., and CombaGroup from 2017 to 2019. Amrita's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from New York University, an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs, and a BA in Mathematics and Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Middlebury College.
