Jessica E. has a diverse work experience spanning numerous industries and roles. Jessica began their career as an Administrator in the Department of Admissions at The University of Memphis. Jessica then worked as a Legal Assistant at Band Law Group before joining the United States Peace Corps as a Project Manager in the Dominican Republic. In this role, they established a community computer lab and conducted data analysis to understand community needs.

After their time in the Peace Corps, Jessica worked as a Program Evaluator at the Center for Latin American Studies at Vanderbilt University. Jessica then took on multiple roles at Vanderbilt University, including Graduate Teaching Assistant and Program Manager for the Office of Active Citizenship and Service program in Ecuador. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, they mentored and coached students in the International Leadership and Development track. In their Program Manager role, they managed logistics and supervised a group of undergraduate and graduate students.

Jessica then transitioned to STEM Preparatory Academy, where they held various positions including Director of Community Engagement & Outreach and Founding Director of Institutional Research. In these roles, they focused on improving outreach, engagement, and marketing efforts to increase enrollment and diversity.

Prior to their current role, Jessica worked as a Strategic Operational Excellence Consultant at RePublic High School, where they led initiatives to improve enrollment and operations processes.

Most recently, Jessica is a Director at Ankura where they lead cross-functional, global teams and manages projects to achieve desired results. Jessica identifies and addresses project roadblocks to ensure successful outcomes.

Jessica E. holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from Vanderbilt University, with a field of study in International Policy and Management. Jessica also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the College of Charleston. Additionally, Jessica has studied Brazilian Studies and Portuguese at UCLA. In terms of certifications, they have obtained certifications in Change Management from Prosci, Effective Facilitator from Leadership Strategies, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
