Jesus Torres

Jesus Torres is an experienced financial services professional with over twenty years of expertise in regulatory compliance and licensing. Currently serving as Managing Director at Ankura since May 2021, Jesus leads the Forensics Licensing team in the Americas AFC. Prior to this role, Jesus was Vice President – Licensing and Senior Licensing Compliance Director at Chartwell Compliance until March 2024, specializing in state regulatory compliance and money transmitter licenses. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Compliance and Licensing at Intermex Wire Transfer, LLC, where Jesus enforced compliance with government regulations. Jesus's career began at IKON Document Services as BSC Comptroller. Educationally, Jesus holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Business Management, and Human Resources from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
