Matthew Chao

Matthew Chao has over a decade of experience in healthcare and laboratory services, currently serving as an EPIC Beaker AP Analyst at AnMed Health since February 2010, focusing on the build, implementation, and maintenance of the EPIC Beaker application for Laboratory Services. Previous roles include Cytology Supervisor, where responsibilities included assisting the cytopathologist and monitoring test analyses, and Cytotechnologist, performing microscopic examinations and processing specimens. Prior to AnMed Health, Matthew worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital and contributed as a Research Assistant at Clemson University. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Anderson University, a Master of Science in Cytology and Biosciences from MUSC College of Health Professions, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University.
