Heather Leszczynski

Heather Leszczynski currently serves as the Chief Development and Engagement Officer at Ann Arbor YMCA, overseeing financial development activities, marketing, community engagement, fiscal management, and donor stewardship. Since 1994, Heather has also been a figure skating instructor at the Ann Arbor Figure Skating Club and has coached the Hockettes synchronized skating teams since 2005. Previously, Heather held the position of Executive Director at Cascades Humane Society, managing fundraising, donor relations, and strategic planning. Other notable roles include Assistant Director at the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan and Program Assistant II at the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Behavior and a Secondary Teaching Certification in Environmental Studies and Earth Science from the University of Michigan.
