Shane Trexler

Shane Trexler is a seasoned professional in engineering and sustainability, serving as the Founder of Sustainable Consulting Group, LLC since May 2014, where strategic and executive input is provided to enhance building and life science industries. As an Entrepreneur in Residence at Ann Arbor SPARK since February 2023, Shane supports technology-centric startups through mentorship and strategic counsel. In roles at Seraph Biosciences, Inc., Shane has advanced through positions including Vice President of Engineering and Director of Engineering since April 2017. Additionally, collaborations with KGD Architecture ensure the achievement of energy efficiency and sustainability standards. Prior involvement includes engineering positions at Arlington County, Centennial Generating Co., SilTek, Inc., Rockwell Collins, and a research assistant role at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from George Mason University.
